A 1-day event for grades 10-12, the iRide Field Trip program is designed to teach basic cycling skills and safety awareness to students during gym class. Each class receives one 60-minute skills session, followed by a 90-minute bike ride in the local area. This special pilot program for Richmond Secondary is providing bicycles for riders in need.
Our curriculum is recognized by the BC Ministry of Education’s Prescribed Learning Outcomes. Sessions can be run on all-weather fields, grass fields, and paved areas. This special pilot program makes use of quiet roads in the neighborhood and is designed to help riders build the skills and confidence to ride further.
