KIDSPORT PAYS. YOUR KID PLAYS.

Through a confidential application process, KidSport provides funding for kids from families that need financial support to help cover the cost of sport registration fees #SoALLKidsCanPlay!

Cycling BC’s HopOn program is proud to partner with KidSport British Columbia to help get more kids on bikes because after all, cycling is awesome!

With 40 chapters across the province, KidSport directly shapes sport in each of those communities. Each chapter—most of which are completely volunteer-run—raises funds, accepts applications and distributes grants in its own community. For communities that don’t have a chapter, grant requests are supported through KidSport’s Provincial Fund.

WHY KIDSPORT?

  • Program costs keep 1 in 3 kids out of organized sports, especially in marginalized or remote communities.
  • Only 39% of kids and teens (5-17 years) are meeting national physical movement guidelines.
  • Sport helps kids build friendships, gain confidence, and develop healthy habits.

OUR IMPACT

  • Last year, KidSport chapters in BC distributed $1.6M to fund sport for more than 5,000 kids across the province.
  • We owe ALL kids the chance to experience everything sport offers.
  • We invite you to apply for funding to help your child, or consider a donation to help families in-need.
