iRide Terrace p/b Kermode Kids

Hello! I’m Boby Wagner and I am passionate about the power of movement and its importance for our children. I have worked as a certified Gymnastics coach for many years and enjoy mountain biking.  Now trained as an NCCP Community cycling coach and iRide Instructor, I am excited to offer a grassroots mountain biking program in Terrace this autumn.

Our program, Terrace Kermode Kids p/b iRide, is a 6-week program for ages 7-10, skill level 3+ (“I can turn quickly, look behind while riding straight and roll off a sidewalk curb”).  The program begins and ends each day at our city’s brand-new pump track. Each session includes a few skills, a game, and a trail ride in the local area. Participants will need to bring a mountain bike (or a kid’s bike with gears), a helmet, and of course their STOKE.

This autumn, we are offering 4 different programs. Use the links to below to learn about our alternate programs.

• Wednesday @ 2:30pm  (Home-School)
• Wednesday @ 4:00pm  (Girls)
• Thursday @ 4:00pm (Indigenous)
• Friday @ 4:00pm (Coed)

As recipients of an iRide Development Grant, our instructors have registered with Cycling BC, undergone NCCP-training and completed a background screening. All sessions are covered by Cycling BC’s insurance policy with Jones Brown. This program is made possible through partnerships with Cycling BC and the city of Terrace.
