Thank you for supporting the 7th Annual Evening of Champions Gala

Cycling BC would like to sincerely thank all the sponsors, donors, and attendees of the 7th Annual Evening of Champions Gala fundraiser held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the Sheraton Wall Centre Vancouver.

Thanks to your support, Cycling BC was able to raise over $60,000 for high performance athlete development and youth cycling programs benefiting athletes in British Columbia. This would not have been possible without your generous donations, sponsorships, or ticket purchases to the event.

We hope that you continue to support cycling in BC and see the results of your contributions through the success of BC’s athletes at national and international competitions and seeing even more BC kids on bikes than ever before.

“I had the opportunity to compete at the World Championships in Rotterdam. I came away with gold on that trip. I tasted victory. Although I was young, this sparked something and I just knew I wanted to push my limits further and join the national team.” – Alex Tougas, Cycling BC BMX Athlete

“I will continue training hard with the goals of winning a Canadian Championship title on the road and track. I love track and road cycling so much that I hope I will continue riding both at the highest level possible. Hopefully, I’ll represent Canada at another world championship.” – Annabella Stoll-Danserau, Cycling BC Road & Track Athlete

“Being surrounded by my amazing support group – friends, family, coaches, mentors, teammates, and sponsors – all have played a significant role in my cycling career. Having people that understand my goals and want me to achieve in cycling has really driven me to pursue this sport at the highest level.” – Ethan Ogrodniczuk, Cycling BC Road & Track Athlete
