DESCRIPTION:HopOn North Van p/b KGMS Bike Club \nHello! I’m Piers Samson\, a school teacher at Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School. This spring\, I am starting a new after-school bike skills program to help kids and parents in the Seymour area build confidence\, friends\, and an appreciation for the challenges of outdoor exercise. \nOur 2022 spring program is for riders with skill levels 4-5 (ages 12-16). Each session includes a skill\, a game\, and a bike ride in the community. Participants will need their bike\, a helmet\, and their STOKE! *This program is available for any students in the community. \nAs recipients of a HopOn Development Grant\, our instructors have registered with Cycling BC\, undergone NCCP training\, and completed a background screening.
