SUMMARY:iRide Glenridge p/b Glenridge Gorillas
DESCRIPTION:Hello! I’m Mike Rauch and over the past 4 seasons\, my team of iRide Instructors and I have enjoyed helping kids in the Abbotsford area master new skills\, build confidence\, make friends\, and gain an appreciation for the challenges of outdoor exercise. \nOur 2021 autumn program\, Glenridge Gorillas p/b iRide\, will be 6-weeks long and is designed for ages 8-14\, skill level 4-5.  Each session includes a few skills\, a game\, and a trail ride at Glenridge Acres\, a privately owned and operated mountain bike facility. Participants will need to bring a mountain bike\, a helmet\, and of course their STOKE! \nAs recipients of an iRide Development Grant\, our instructors have registered with Cycling BC\, undergone NCCP-training\, and completed a background screening. All sessions are covered by Cycling BC’s insurance policy with Gallagher. \nProgram Dates: \n\nSept 13\nSept 20\nSept 27\nOct 4\nOct 18\nOct 25\n\nTo prepare\, please complete the following:\n\nRegister Online\nConduct a bike safety check (try one of iRide’s registered bike shops)\nCheck out iRide’s Frequently Asked Questions section\n\nIf you have any questions\, please send us a message. \nAfterward\, here are some ways to continue cycling:\n\nAccess financial aid from KidSport (up to $400 per year) to cover the cost of this program.
