DESCRIPTION:HopOn Quesnel p/b Gold Rush Cycling Club Nuggets \nHello! I’m John Courtney\, and this spring\, our team of HopOn Instructors is running the HopOn After-School program in Quesnel for the 3rd year.  Our program helps young riders learn new skills\, build confidence\, make friends\, and appreciate the challenges of outdoor exercise. \nOur 2023 spring program is for riders with skill levels 3-4 (ages 7-12) and we are offering 30 spots\, with a 1:6 instructor/participant ratio. \nEach session includes a skill\, a game\, and a bike ride in the community. We will be using different locations; continue reading for more information. Parents are welcome to participate in the session and provide support. Participants will need their bike\, a helmet\, and their STOKE! \nParticipants may add the purchase of our HopOn T-shirt\, certificate and sticker kit during registration. DESCRIPTION:Hello! I’m John Courtney\, and this season\, my team of 5 iRide Instructors and I are starting a new iRide After-School program in Quesnel to help young riders learn new skills\, build confidence\, and make new friends. \nOur 2021 spring program\, the Gold Rush Cycling Club’s Nuggets presented by iRide\, will be 6-weeks long and is designed for ages 8-12\, skill level 2-5.  We will have 2 groups: \n\n15 spots for Level 2-3 riders\, and\n15 spots for Level 4-5 riders.\n\nParents can use the iRide Levels to choose the program that best fits their child’s abilities.  Each session includes a few skills\, a game\, and a bike ride in the neighbourhood. Participants will need to bring a mountain bike (or a kid’s bike with gears)\, a helmet\, and of course\, their STOKE! \nAs recipients of an iRide Development Grant\, our instructors have registered with Cycling BC\, undergone NCCP-training\, and completed a background screening.
