I’m Boby Wagner\, and this year I am excited to offer the iRide cycling skills program here in Masset\, BC.  This will be my 2nd season with Cycling BC’s program\, and I look forward to helping kids in the Masset area build confidence\, friends\, and an appreciation for the challenges of outdoor exercise. \nOur 2021 spring FRIDAY program\, Kermode Kids p/b iRide\, will be 4-weeks long and is designed for ages 6-12\, skill level 3.  Each session includes a few skills\, a game\, and a short bike ride. Participants will need to bring a mountain bike (or a kid’s bike with gears)\, a helmet\, and of course\, their STOKE! \nAs recipients of an iRide Development Grant\, our instructors have registered with Cycling BC\, undergone NCCP-training\, and completed a background screening. SUMMARY:iRide School: Mar Jok Elementary
DESCRIPTION:A 3-day event for grade 4+\, the iRide in-school program is designed to teach basic cycling skills and safety awareness to students during gym class. Each class receives three 45-60 minute training sessions over three days with the goal of all children achieving skill level 3.  Bicycles and helmets are provided for students\, however\, it is recommended that they bring their own. \nOur curriculum is recognized by the BC Ministry of Education’s Prescribed Learning Outcomes and targets students in grades 4 to 6. DESCRIPTION:Hello! I’m Nicole Pachal\, and this summer\, my team of iRide Instructors and I are building upon our successful 2021 spring to offer community programs in Terrace\, BC. Our program aims to help young riders learn new skills\, build confidence\, make friends\, and appreciate the challenges of outdoor exercise. \nThis summer community program\, Good Foot Mountain Bikers presented by iRide\, includes four sessions designed for ages 7-10\, skill level 3-4.  Each session includes a few skills\, a game\, and a bike ride in the neighbourhood. Participants will need to bring a mountain bike (or a kid’s bike with gears)\, a helmet\, and of course\, their STOKE! \nAs recipients of an iRide Development Grant\, our instructors have registered with Cycling BC\, undergone NCCP-training\, and completed a background screening. If you have visited the velodrome before\, we will help you achieve a new level of skill. If you are brand-new to the track\, let’s see how high and fast we can help you ride! \nEach afternoon\, our team will ride in the Burnaby Mountain area\, including the Mtn. Air Park\, North Road Trails\, and the East-face. We’ll help you refine your body position\, braking at speed\, all four parts of the ‘World Cup’ turn\, and everything you need to ride blue-rated Mtn. This camp is for levels 3 and 4. \nTo prepare\, please bring the following: \n\nSMILES!\nWater\, lunch\, and snacks\,\nGloves\, All-weather clothing\nHelmets (CSA approved)\nMountain bike with gears and hand brakes\n\nOvernight bike storage is provided @ Cycling BC’s office (security)\nRental bikes are available for riders 4’0 – 5’5″ tall\nConduct a bike safety check (try one of iRide’s registered bike shops)\n\n\n\nParticipants receive a welcome email 7-14 days before the camp starts.  For more information\, please review iRide’s Frequently Asked Questions or send us a message. \nWhere are we going?
