I’m Adam Balls and this spring\, my team of HopOn instructors are helping kids in the Nakusp area build confidence\, friends\, and an appreciation for the challenges of outdoor exercise. \nOur 2023 June Thursday program is for Grade 4/5 school students at Nakusp Elementary. Each session includes 2-3 HopOn skills\, games\, and a ride around the school grounds. SUMMARY:HopOn School: Albert McMahon Elementary
DESCRIPTION:A 3-day event for grade 4+\, the HopOn in-school program (formerly iRide) helps students learn basic cycling skills and safety awareness during gym class. Each class receives three 45-60 minute training sessions over three days with the goal of all children achieving skill level 3. In addition\, we provide bicycles and helmets for children between 4′ to 5’5″ feet tall at no additional charge. \nOur curriculum matches the BC Ministry of Education’s Prescribed Learning Outcomes and targets students in grades 4 to 6.
