DESCRIPTION:HopOn Bike Camp\, in partnership with WestShore Parks & Rec\n \nMeet new friends\, improve your biking skills\, and have fun this summer with Cycling BC’s HopOn program. Each day includes skill development\, games\, a bike ride in the area\, and 1 hour of swimming on Tuesday and Thursday. Open to ages 7-12\, Skill Level 2-4. \nBikes and helmets are available for rent if requested during registration. Bicycle storage during the week is also available.  \nCycling BC’s insurance policy with Gallagher provides sports accident and general liability coverage for instructors and participants. \nHow do I register my child? \n\nSTEP 1 – REGISTER @ WestShore (14975)\nSTEP 2 – Sign the acknowledgment of risk form & purchase HopOn Membership ($25)\n\nParticipants should be comfortable with ALL the following: \n\nAble to stop & start quickly\nWave hello while riding\nStand up and coast\n\nPlease carefully read Cycling BC Skill Levels before registering. This camp is for levels 2-4. \nTo prepare\, please bring the following: \n\nSMILES!\nWater\, Lunch and snacks\,\nGloves\, All-weather clothing\nHelmets (CSA approved)\nSpare tubes & levers\nMountain bike with gears and hand brakes\n\nOvernight bike storage is available @ Cycling BC’s office (secured)\nRental bikes are available for riders 4’0 – 5’0″ tall\nConduct a bike safety check at a registered bike shop\n\n\n\nParticipants receive a welcome email 7-14 days before the program starts.
